About Me

Miriam: My name is Miriam Peña Rodríguez. I graduated from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2009 with a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with EC-4 Bilingual Certification. This is my second year working as a bilingual teacher and I find it challenging and rewarding. Initially, I wanted to obtain a literature degree, but after enrolling at the university and looking at all the different programs they offered I changed my mind and decided I wanted to work with children.
